Eat the Rich Podcast hosts were so amazed by the paramilitary line.... Here' a possible explanation for that.

Listened to this podcast yesterday https://soundcloud.com/eattherichpod/ep-092-kroll

Very interesting for various reasons. Told me new stuff about Kroll and also interesting to listen to these three people as they realize that something INSANE is going on with Kroll. That is the word they kept using as they dug a little deeper. They really made it clear how bullshit is Kroll's origin story but they didn't get into the problem with the press surrounding Kroll. The press not just surrounding Jules Kroll but Nick Kroll is fascinating - so many ommissions when it comes to Jules Kroll'ps work over the decades and so much hype and bullshit surrounds Nick Kroll's career that it can easily fill a book. At one point Nick's Wikipedia page talked about how he took out his penis at graduation and flashed it for all to see. Of course, that has been thoroughly scrubbed from the web.

Then there is the Cornel Sun pushing him without mentioning who his father is. Then there is the article where almost no tickets were sold to his show and then all sold a day before. This is before he was able to use fake it till you make to impress upon the unsuspecting masses that he was a Hollywood success story. Then there is the post I made about how many publications were promoting him without telling the reader that his father either worked for them or funds them. Then there was a narrative of how Kroll Show was stopped so "Nick Kroll can go out on top" but in reality, the ratings were always terrible and were exceptionally dismal at the time it was pulled.

Then the NPR, Grantland, Pitchfork, Bon Apetit non-scandals that should have been scandals. In short, all publications abdicated tons of integrity and went against regular practices to foist this eyesore upon us. Then there is the fact that Nick Kroll send tons of comedians on a first-class jaunt to Africa, sends spa invites to Greg Fitzimmons, a total stranger to him at the time, and just in general keeps using his wealth to buy friends, jobs, and eventually... fame.

So much more but it is just too odd to write about someone so low on the celebrity totem pole. The same applies to Tig Notaro. Just not famous enough for anyone to care and I guess that's its own blessing. At least I can avoid them relatively easily. It also means that they are being deprived of all that matters to them so that's a good thing too.

But this post is not about that. It's about the podcast I mentioned up top. So much I want to tell those hosts but I'll settle for this for today... At one point in the podcasts the host marvel over how when commissioned to do a report of the Austin Police department, Kroll wrote this

  • Balance the need for paramilitary training models with best practices of adult learning theories into curriculum and teaching methods and replace collective discipline techniques with Team Building Exercises (TBX).
The podcasters were aghast at this on top of fact that wtf is Kroll the name to trust even after being outed as Harvey Weinstein's fixers???? The Brazil scandal? The asbestos scandal? The Allen Standford Scandal? The Kroll Lab corp story, the background check scandal...  Let's not even consider what Kroll did to me and Ian Puddick and who knows how many, "nobodies."

Let's not even lose our minds wondering about why and how they keep getting away with such serious shit. Let's focus on the paramilitary madness bullet point.

Hmmm, would Kroll have any motivation to want to foist the paramilitary approach on the poor, poor public?

Dismissed in the Interests of Justice: The incredible(and I mean incredible) true story of how a comedian, Tig Notaro, saved her brand by destroying lives - Starring Nick Kroll, Jules Kroll, Marty Singer, the LAPD, Prosecutors, Judges (Seriously)

From Google:  Dismissal in the interest of justice  allows a court to dismiss a procedurally proper, but unjust or unjustifiable, cause of action. Thus,  dismissing  cases in the interest  of justice  can provide a check where few exist for overzealous prosecutions, race-based patrolling, and overuse of “three strikes” laws. "Holy shit. This is... insane..." Yes, it was. Yes, it is. Stone cold crazy. Batshit. Baying at the moon. Singing a loony tune. Straight up straight jacket stuff. "...And, yet..." he said, "it's kind of... sexy." Sexy? Only in Los Angeles, would a lawyer, perusing reams of legalese -- chronicling a then two-year journey into hell -- think, 'hey this is hot.' On the surface, he was looking at a case involving a restraining order obtained by perjury and fraud, used by an infamous L.A law firm - as a retaliatory weapon to, at first, stop first amendment protected internet postings and then as a way to sabotage a...

Is Louis CK created comedian, "Tig" Notaro, transitioning from female to male? Is that the ticket, Tommy Flanagan?

Can "Tig" Notaro come out as a FTM transgender? Not unless she wants to go to prison for a long time for cancer charity fraud is the quick answer. (Louis CK promised proceeds from buying her tape to go to cancer charities. You'd think it would be enough if the money just went to Notaro for treatment. Not only did Notaro not need the money she'd claim, but she'd brag that she has "gazillioanaire friends," and so don't insult her by saying she needed that money from anyone. I FIRMLY believe she never needed that money cause no cancer, and I know she was referring to Nick Kroll when she talked of "gazzilionaire friends.") This post is getting a lot of hits since I posted it so here's a link about some of her cancer uh INCONSISTENCIES  http://henypire.blogspot.com/2014/01/should-tig-notaro-win-grammy-for-best.html?m=1 Less quick answers, questions, and revised theories: At one point, "Tig" Notaro really pulled a fast one wh...

Kroll Show Review - Is show business safe from Nick Kroll's check writing prowess? Answer: Nope

Jules Kroll is a very successful and BUSY man. He is easily worth ten billion, and he has thousands of powerful people, on his payroll, or in his debt. (We'll really get to him if you keep reading.)  This  article in Business Week  http://www.businessweek.com/stories/1998-11-08/jules-kroll-danger-is-his-business   gives a compelling overview:  In the late 1970s, he(Jules Kroll) helped create a new market for corporate investigations. A onetime Manhattan assistant district attorney, he realized that corporations would pay big for an investigative firm that could dig out employee fraud and other malfeasance. He recruited a savvy coterie of former CIA spies, FBI agents, and prosecutors by paying them as much as twice their public-sector salaries. But there's more to Kroll's success than waving big paychecks at top talent. He has long inspired loyalty among his staff by remembering the names of even the lowliest clerical workers. ...
