I mark some very strange and unbearably sad anniversaries. I hope heaven is treating you well, Officer Jaqueline Montalvo.
Twelve years ago today, a (very tragically) unsung hero lost her life. Though a team of investigators smelled no alcohol at the scene, a coroner said she was very drunk at the time of the crash. As of today the world is oblivious to what her testimony could have wrought. In short, it could have exposed a sinister conspiracy in the Los Angeles Superior court and beyond(Kroll.) Her loved ones deserve that she be remembered as an exceptionally brave person and not merely a dead drunk driver. Does justice have an expiration date? It feels like that most days but it shouldn't be the case.
